Why Should We Use Sunscreen In All Seasons?
We all love how the sun warms us up, brightens everywhere with its yellow rays and energizes us. In fact, vitamin D, 90% of which we get through sunlight, plays a big role in preventing depression, strengthening bones and regulating blood pressure. However, in addition to this good side, excessive exposure to sunlight also begins to harm our skin.
The ozone layer, which gets thinner over time, causes the sun's rays to reach the world stronger day by day. This situation, which threatens the health of all living things in the long term, damages our skin and causes health problems. Even on a cloudy winter day, these damages are reduced by only 20-30% compared to summer.
Experts say that exposure to the sun without sunscreen leads to faster aging of the skin, increased wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. In addition, the damage caused by these sun rays is considered as the main risk factor of skin cancer.
